Your senior year in high school is something most will remember for the rest of their lives, especially those last couple of months. For the graduating class of 2020 these times will be remembered much differently.

That’s why 96.1 & 102.1 The Wolf has started a Senior Spotlight, meant to highlight seniors all across East Idaho and their hard work. We will recognize High School and College seniors, share their accomplishments and goals for the future, and give them the recognition they so richly deserve. If you’re interested in featuring your senior, just fill out this simple form below and be sure to include a picture and short message to your senior.

Taesha Garner

Taesha you have always been the beacon of bright light in all that you do. Rather it was volunteering in the community as Miss Gate City’s Outstanding Teen, or being an exemplary leader as Cheer Captain of your cheer team, or helping your brothers out, or being the best Auntie to your nephew. You have done it all with style, grace, compassion, and kindness. You have started and lit a magnificent path for yourself to do great things and although the end of Senior Year is not what you had hoped you have been a true beacon of light for future generations to come. I can not wait to see how you will light this world on fire with grace. We love you Taesha .

You’re going to do great as you move into college “Y”, and will accomplish so much in your life. Congratulations!

You have no idea how proud I am of you. Though this is not how we imagined graduating as 2020 seniors, I know you will continue to push yourself through the rest of the school year and do amazing things. You are one of the most caring and kind hearted individuals I have ever met and I am grateful that you have been a part of my life for the past 2 years. I love you to the moon and back over and over again, B.
Spencer Perry
Idaho Falls High School
Spence, you’ve been a part of us every moment of your young life. We were there to watch you, celebrate with you, encourage you, hold you. Now, we see the beautiful person you’ve grown to be, and we slowly step into the gentle chapter of letting you go. We hold you close to our hearts and bless you with the encouragement you so deserve. As a 9/11 child and a World Pandemic Graduate you have persevered with grace. We have no doubt you are ready for this next chapter in life. Go Vandals!

We love you and are so proud of your tall red headed awesomeness. The best life advice probably comes from your favorite shows, “pivot….pivot… Pivot!” And “I wish there was a way to know that you are in the good old days before you have actually left them“ Time to go out and make some new good old days 🙂
Lanie Southwood
Century High School
I don’t even know where to begin, you have accomplished so much and I am so proud of you. From being one of the Cheer Captains for the last 2 years at Century, and being an All American Cheerleader, I don’t know how many times, to being Athlete of the month, and then Cheerleader of the year. I could fill a page with your accomplishments. I know this ending is not what we had planned but you have been so graceful through it all. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you, I know what ever it is that you will be graceful, beautiful, funny, smart, and will tackle it all. Good Luck my sweet girl and we will always be DBacks!!! I love you!!!
